My name is Chris Hartley, and I am the Primary Council and Head Official for the Parkview PoolCats. We are excited to host Cedar Creek and Eastmont Cove this week! Please let me know if you have any questions not covered below.

Schedule

• Pool deck opens to visiting families and swimmers: 5:10 PM
• Please have your team wait outside the gate until 5:10 PM so that setup can be completed.
• Visiting team warm-ups begin: 5:20 PM
• Timer and Stroke & Turn meetings: 5:35–5:45 PM
• Meet begins: 6:00 PM

Parking

We will reserve two parking spots for your leadership team. These spots will be marked with cones and are located closest to the clubhouse, adjacent to the railroad tracks. Please simply move the cones upon arrival.

Please follow the arrows and keep to the right upon entering the parking lot. If the lot is full, you may drop off your swimmers and continue through the parking lot in a counter-clockwise direction.

Swimmer families should park in the main lot in front of the clubhouse and along one side of the street as needed.

Please note:

• We have a wooden island in the parking lot.
• No parking is permitted past the island on either end in the center section. No parking signs will be placed at each end. Do not park in front of the signs or beyond.
• This area is a fire lane and must remain clear for safety reasons.
• The meet cannot begin if the fire lane is blocked.
• We must leave the first 4 spots adjacent to the tennis court available for the neighborhood tennis team.

Please ask your families to follow all posted traffic signs to help us maintain a safe environment for everyone.

If your team needs a handicap-accessible parking spot, please let us know in advance.

Visitor Seating

Visitor team seating will be on the diving well side of the pool.

Visitor spectator seating is also located along that side of the deck. Please leave a walkway open along the front edge of the pool for coaches and officials.

Staging

Swimmer staging will be located behind the diving well on the starting end of the pool.

Volunteers Needed from Your Team

Since we swim in 6 lanes and there are 3 teams, we ask your team to provide:

• 5 timers per half
• 1 Stroke & Turn official per half

Your verifier and any computer/ribbon volunteers should report to the clubhouse and connect with Jim at the computer table.

We will provide bottled water to volunteers once per shift.

Concessions

Our concession stand will offer dinner items, including pizza, pulled pork and chicken, along with sides, candy, and drinks. Please let us know how many coaches you have. We will provide them with a meal voucher.

We accept cash and Venmo.

Our deck can accommodate small personal coolers, but please ask families not to bring large coolers. As always, no glass containers or alcohol are permitted.
