2026 summer swim team
End of the year Pool Party is this Thursday, July 16th at our pool 6:00-8:00pm.
I hope you have enjoyed watching your swimmers strive for their swimming goals during this summer season. I am so proud of all our swimmers. Congrats to Teddy Vogan who won 3rd in 25 Freestyle and 3rd in 50 freestyle and the top 9 year old in the events in the County Final. Good job to all our 9-10 yo male and female relay swimmers; I am sure it was quite the experience to swim at Georgia Tech!
Here is a list of some great options for swimmers to continue developing their skills during the off-season. Winter swim lessons, stroke clinics, and year-round swim teams can help swimmers maintain and improve their abilities when outdoor swimming is no longer available.

2026 Eastmont Cove Olympians
Whether you are a seasoned swimmer or a less skilled swimmer, there is a spot on our team for you. The swimmers do need to be able to swim the length of the pool by themselves to be on the team.
2026 swim meets: May 28, June 4, June 11, June 18, June 25 ○ County Meet Entries Due : June 29th ● County meet: tentative July 10, 11 and 12th ○ 15-18 group will run Friday night Locations: Georgia Tech
If you have a high school students needing volunteer hours, they can come and volunteer as a timer, runner or to help with staging. We have a form they can take to their school to get credit for the hours.
Would you like to help out more? If you'd like to help in a leadership capacity, please let us know. All positions are volunteer. Let's keep having a summer swim team in the Shiloh District.

EC Olympians Team 2025
The Details: Let your friends know and come and join us with friend groups!
2027 Registration (team registration plus GCSL Athlete fee/athlete): Starts March 1st.
Registration: $125 + $28 (Even better early bird specials will be offered in March)
Meets are run by volunteer parents. All parents will need to be ready to volunteer as timers, runners, Stroke and Turn Judges (need special training), Starter (Needs special Training), to help organize the swimmers in lanes, concessions...
Practices are Mondays - Thursdays
Evening practices when school is still in session: Practice will begin mid May in the evenings: M-Th 5:30-6:30pm ~10yo and under, 6:30-7:30pm ~11yo and up.
When Gwinnett Public school year ends, morning practices will begin instead of night practices. Please note, Memorial Day, there is no practice; Tuesday to Thursday that week, then M-Th the other weeks. Fun Swim on Fridays time TBD.
Times for am practices:
9:00 - 9: 55 am 11 and up
10:00- 11 am 10 and under
Dual and trio Meet dates: Thursdays in the evening; will be 5 meets (2 at home, 3 away)

County practice for those that qualify TBD.
County Championships meet will be on the second weekend most likely in July. In 2026, it was on July 10 (15-18 yo), July 11 (9-10 yo am, 13-14 yo pm), July 12th (under 7yo am, 11-12 pm) for those that qualify at Georgia Tech.
