    Swimathon results

We had a great and hot day at our Swimathon today. Thank you to all the volunteer counters who sweated it out and cheered on the swimmers.

It is amazing how much the kids have learned and how much they can do, compared to the beginning of the season. For example, Hassett Alemu and Mecca Hipps, both 7 year olds, first time swimmers on our team did 34 laps. Haywan Deneke (16 yo) did the most, at 70 laps! Everyone had goals and pushed through to accomplish them. Please see the google doc below for the results:

Thank you also to Ms. Krystal and her wonderful crew for providing the pancake/sausage breakfast and adlibbing so well with the grill being out.

We are very proud of all of you.

    Go team!

Now, one more meet left besides the county finals. Our 5th meet is this Thursday at HSRC with the Hanarry Hurricanes, 595 Johannah Place SW, Lilburn. Please sign up to volunteer. We need all slots filled, especially second half timers. If you can't volunteer, please pay a volunteer student listed on our website.

If you were wondering who has the top times in Gwinnett County, here, from the GCSL, is the updated Top Times report:

(If you open the PDF file on a mobile device, the document may not load all of the top times. This problem can usually be solved by opening the file on a laptop or desktop computer.)

    Thank you
