2nd swim practice, timers video, links to stroke and turn and starter training

    Hello Eastmont Cove Olympians,

We had our first practice. Some beginner swimmers will be working extra hard these first 3 days to show the coaches they can get across the pool safely. All the best to them and all the swimmers working on getting their swimming lungs, legs, and arms back in shape.

Keep thinking about your volunteer positions. On Thursday btn practices we will be going over them btn the practices. Tuesday, May 27th we will be having an in person Stroke and Turn training session at 7pm. If you have not done the training already, please put this date on your calendars. Also, if you would like to be the Starter, you need to do both the Stroke and Turn and Starter Training. If you went to the Computer training session (two were available, please let me know). We will need a computer person ready to help out by Monday of next week to send info on our team and our swimmers for our first meet on the 29th.

Don't forget to download the Remind app and add our team to it. How to join instructions is on the main page of our website.

Helpful Video to learn what to do as a Timer: (note: we don’t use a plunger and only watch the video to the time 3 min. 53 sec.; the rest is not applicable for us)
