Hello Eastmont Cove Olympians,

We had a nice turn-out yesterday for the swimsuit fitting time slot. It is always nice to meet new members, catch up, and see how much more grown up each swimmer is compared to last year; some were taller than their parents! We will have another swimsuit fitting session next Saturday 6:00 to 8:00pm.

Our mandatory zoom parent meeting will be on Sunday May 11th at 7pm. Please block it out in your calendars. Think about which volunteer positions you would like to do for the team for breakout group session.

Remember this year we want all our parents to do the Stroke and Turn online course and if you are interested in being the Starter, also do the Starter course.  You learn about each stroke, why swimmers get disqualified and can volunteer in this position when you have completed the course. Maybe we will see you this coming Saturday for the next swim suit fitting (same suits as last year, all red), or we will see you via zoom the Sunday the following week. Please see the Eastmont Cove Olympian website for more details of the season and the schedule for practices and meets. FYI: we have 2 meets this year on Tuesdays because of scheduling conflicts with the small teams in our area. (June 10th, and June 17th)

First day of evening practice: Monday May 19th: 10 years and under at 5:30 to 6:30, 11 years and up 6:30 to 7:30pm
