Best Volunteers Ever! and Seniors Graduating!
Hello EC Olympians,
I hope you are enjoying the Memorial Weekend and for some the graduations for the Senior Students. I was able to go to the Shiloh Graduation for my neighbor and got to see McKenzie Cartwright and Kwadir St. Val walk across that stage, and I am sure there were others that I just didn't recognize in their cap and gown. It was Exciting! Congratulations to all the Graduates. We will be honoring our Senior Swimmers at our home meet on Thursday, June 15th. If all the Seniors or their parents (please let them know this) could send me a picture and a little write up by the end of this week, we can better prepare for their big day.
I also wanted to thank all the awesome volunteers that helped at our first meet. I love the feeling of camaraderie when we all come together to support our kids. We are powerful together. I hope you found positions you enjoyed. This coming week is a home meet so we will have more positions to fill. Looks like the Starter will probably be me, which is super scary to me, so I best study up so I can pretend I know what I'm doing. Please let me know if anyone, who can sing, would like to sing the National Anthem. It also means someone will have to take my place as a Stroke and Turn Judge. All hands will be needed on deck. Please go to the website, go to Swim Meets --June 1st -- Job Sign-up and sign on up for a volunteer job: https://ecolympians.swimtopia.com/. If you are not confident of a position, there are lot's of Youtube videos you can watch to build your confidence, and you can talk to us about them.
Thanks again everyone for making this fun for the kids and parents,
Go Olympians!
