    Winter swimming?

    Several families have expressed an interest or inquired about swimming in the winter there are many options available, and I would encourage each family to look at the convenience, cost and coaches. It is possible to go visit and talk with each year-round club before signing up. I do not endorse any one particular winter swim club.  

    Good questions to ask:

    1. For my child's age group - what days and times are practices offered

    2. How much does it cost?

    3. Who will be coaching my child?

    I believe that it is important that it is convenient for the parent to drive them to the facility and that the time commitment that is expected works with the family's schedule. 

    Swimming is a wonderful sport but does take a commitment on the parents' part. I am attaching a link for 8 reasons why swimming is a valuable sport.

    I can't wait until next summer and look forward to everyone returning and bringing their friends and relatives to join ECST team next summer. 

    Now is the time to look into winter swim clubs if you are interested, I am attaching some information and links to some of the clubs that are in Gwinnett County. You can also google them and look at each one's website. In no particular order:
